MakMak Macarons joins the Newtown family

MakMak Macarons joins the Newtown family
Get excited Inner Westies! Newtown is about to be macaron heaven. MakMak Macarons is opening its first retail outlet at 601 King Street, Newtown. On a recent trip down South King Street I noticed the MakMak logo completely covering their front window. I’ve been dying to see inside… knowing all that sweet goodness was behind those closed doors. Pastizzi Cafe and their little bundles of goodness

Pastizzi Cafe and their little bundles of goodness

The ‘bubble gum blowing girl’ t-shirt design lured me into the store and the visual delights...

Welcome home…from Jaanu

Welcome home...from Jaanu
How gorgeous is this floor mat! I bought it when I popped into Jaanu, on south King Street last week. It now takes pride of place at my front door. Great idea for anyone looking for a house warming present. It sure beats the boring “Welcome” mats. For those of you who might be curious about the name of the store, Jaanu means ‘sweetheart’ in Hindi. So pop into Jaanu and buy...
