The Christmas season is well and truly here – ready or not here comes Santa! Is it just me or has this year just flown by. Waking to the sound of pouring rain on Sunday did not bring a smile to my face. It was Marrickville Festival day – what a disaster. My only positive thought was that the festival wasn’t kicking off until 11am – maybe the weather might improve by then. No such luck. I headed up to Marrickville Road around lunchtime and had to jump over puddles and raging rivers in some laneways. But...
