One day I will be walking past a completely blank wall, the next it is covered by an amazing design, the following day another artist has added to it and its possible that next week it could be completely painted over and be a blank canvas again. I was so excited last week when I discovered a new cafe had opened up in my own backyard of Marrickville. How could I resist popping in on the weekend to check it out. I have put together some photos of my favourite street art from around the Inner West. The usual suspects of Beastman, Ears, Phibs, Slug, Animal Farm, MOX, Birdhat and Hazzy Bee have featured + many more. But the really exciting news is that some of our favourite Inner West street artists will be taking part in the Outpost Project on Cockatoo Island from (4 Nov – 11 Dec). To say that I am excited...

What do they have in common? Stencil art! I have a new found respect for stencil art. It began when I visited the Australian Stencil Art Prize 2010 at the Oh Really Gallery last year and I fell in love with a great design by a very talented 16 year old. This infatuation continued while travelling in South America where I saw designs that completely blew my mind. It is difficult to imagine the number...
