Swap surfboards in the Inner West this weekend

Being held for the 3rd time, this weekend surfing lovers can meet in the carpark at Deus Ex Machina at 104 Parramatta Rd, Camperdown and buy, swap or sell their surfboards. This vintage and retro boardcollectors swap meet will be held from 9am to 4pm on Saturday 9th October. Deus Cafe will be on hand doing bacon & egg rolls and espresso coffee for brekkie and for lunch, pizza slices, garlic prawn skewers and Coronas. How can you resist that!

Here are just some of the who’s who of Australia’s surf culture who will be in attendance:

Alby Falzon – Pioneer and film maker will be featuring his “Morning of the Earth” paraphernalia, surfboards and DVD’s.
Marty Worthington – Australia’s most famous airbrush artist. Famous for artwork gracing Terry Fitzgerald’s speed machines, will be here with examples of his work for sale.
Tony ‘Air Speed’- Pinstriper and custom painter. Will be here to pin stripe your vintage surfboard, skateboard, sign etc
Benny from Six Ounce- Pulling out his collection and representing for the boys at Surf Culture Bondi Junction.
Wayne from the Central Coast- showing and selling a life time of collectible surfboards.
MEX- and his collection of Australian surf Culture.
Tony- bringing his beautiful vintage surfboard collection. All for sale to the right buyer.

If you are not interested in surfboards the Monkey Bike club will have bikes on display and for sale.

Plus Stefan’s Wall of Death – For $10 you can have your pre-1990 surfboard sold for you while you walk the meet!

I might get my scooter pinstriped!

    I have to work Sat JiMBOB but I will try and get there in the arvo, i want to have the most stylish scooter in the inner west!
