Perfect Match Mural weekend is almost here

The Ox King. Work in progress.

Thankfully the recently amalgamated Inner West Council has decided to continue running the Perfect Match Mural Program which invites local property owners to find their “Perfect Match”. Council plays Cupid by matching property owners with an artists to transform their public wall into an artwork.

This year the free tours and events celebrating creativity and art will be taking place on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 August (The tours are free but bookings are essential).

In previous years properties throughout the Marrickville Council area have had artists such as Jumbo, Fintan Magee, Sid Tapia, Thomas Jackson, PequeEarsSkulk, SMC3Syke and Numskull creating amazing artworks. If you are interested in street art, take this opportunity to meet some artists and check out their art process. Click here to see all the artists, events and locations for the 2016 Perfect Match Mural.
