Finders Keepers Markets is a Christmas present smorgasbord!

The fact that the Finders Keepers Market only happens twice a year and is only open for 2 days means that if you didn’t get to the markets last night – you have to move your butt and get there today! I have had this date in my calendar for ages and have been counting down the days! I popped in last night for a look and the creative design and art stalls did not disappoint. The markets provide the perfect opportunity for you to look for some fantastic Christmas gifts as well support local artists and designers.

The markets are being held at CarriageWorks in Eveleigh over two days and emerging musicians will also be present to entertain shoppers with live music. No need to shop til you drop – a bar and a cafe are open to refuel. Entry to the event is free and there is fashion, jewellery, accessories, homewares, stationery and art for sale. There are creative and talented people everywhere. You can find the full line up of stallholders here.

I couldn’t resist making a purchase from the Dirty Hands Printmakers Stall.  A gorgeous lino print and collogragh created by talented artist Stephanie Peters. I love it. I actually loved everything that she had on display there, but had to control myself and decide on one piece. I will be wrapping it up and putting it under the Christmas tree for myself. (I bought the yellow print below)

The markets were open last night from 6pm til 10pm and today (Saturday 4 December) from 10am til 5pm  at CarriageWorks, 245 Wilson Street, Eveleigh… so today is your last chance…get moving!
