Ok, so I am a little bit excited about Moo Gourmet Burgers moooooving into King Street (come on, that was a little bit funny!). Sure there are already a couple of burger places on King Street – we have Burger Fuel and Burgerlicious but I used to trek over to Bondi whenever I wanted a Moo Burger hit and now I only have to walk down King Street – very very cool! They are running  a competition... 

Walk passed the Bank Hotel tonight, lights are on and it looks like they are warming up for their Monday 19 July re-opening… finally. I was devastated to find out that Razors Edge Restaurant was closing down after 15 fabulous years but also extremely happy to hear they would be re-opening just a short stroll down the road in the Queen Victoria Hotel, Enmore. How did I not know about this place? If you have never been to the Eveleigh Markets, it is worth a visit just to admire the space and the surrounding buildings – not to mention the great art, design, fashion and craft stalls. Despite my initial intention of going to the markets just to have a look (at least that’s what I told myself), I found myself continually pulling my wallet out the make...

How many places can you go for a dinner and a movie for $20. Not bloody many let me tell you… I know, I love my movies and I love my food. But Dendy Newtown has movies for $11 (for members – membership only costs $20 for 2 years) and you get to sit in their wonderfully comfortable seats. At Newtown Thai (near the corner of O’Connell Street and King Street) which is one of my fav places...
